Five pictures of the roof line of the row on which I live in Lawrenceville. The homes on this row were constructed around 1900. Some of my neighbors, some well into their nineties, have lived on this row all of their lives. In the middle of this row is our little deck nestled between a voluntary ornamental tree and an anarchistic patch of ground covered with strawberries, sweat peas, sedum, cacti, day lilies and proper lilies. It's a favorite peaceful spot where my wife and I typically share dinner until the cold weather sets in.
I've ordered these by time of day, not by the order in which they were shot. Atmospheric conditions varied from day to day. On a clear morning golden light would warm the scene. I wasn't able to make a morning photograph on a clear day during the period of the assignment, so the morning shot is bleak and dreary.
